Services

Proofreading (per-word rate)

Ensures correct and consistent formatting, spelling, punctuation, and word choice (there/they’re); text largely remains unchanged. Please specify if you want proofreading for your references as well.

Language editing (per-word rate)

Correction/revision for grammar, formatting, and sentence structure for consistency, clarity, and readability. May involve substantial rewriting. Includes proofreading.

Formatting (per-page rate)

Ensures manuscripts conform to journal submission guidelines. Can be combined with Proofreading or Language editing. References are NOT formatted unless specified otherwise. For EndNote users, I will edit the text version of the references with Track Changes. Please note that these changes should then be made to the EndNote source document before the manuscript is submitted.

Rush fee

Rush jobs are subject to an additional 20% (+20%) to the final fee.

All include:

  1. Standardization of English used (UK instead of US, or vice versa).
  2. One (1) copy with changes tracked for your reference.
  3. One (1) copy with changes accepted to enable easy comparison with the original text.

Please email angela.rima [at] hotmail [dot] com with a 250-word sample of your manuscript to request a FREE EDIT or a quote and/or service required.

NOTE:

I do not perform plagiarism checks. I presume that authors cite their sources when quoting directly.
